Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Moves More Money Than Ethereum, Dash Litecoin, And Dogecoin Combined
The Bitcoin Cash network experienced a surge in the number of transactions made daily, and also in the number of dollars the network moves daily. A Reddit post by user normalrc exposes that the amount of money sent using the Bitcoin Cash network is bigger than the amount sent by the Ethereum, Dash, Litecoin and Dogecoin blockchains combined, a measure that suggests Bitcoin Cash adoption is growing, according to numbers from BitInfoCharts.
NY Attorney General Calls for Disclosure of Tether/Bitfinex Deal Docs
The legal battle between the NY Attorney General Office and iFinex, the company that owns Bitfinex and Tether, keeps heating up. Now, the NYAG office has called for total disclosure of docs detailing loans and credits that Tether, the issuer of USDT, gave Bitfinex despite having lost almost $850 million (supposedly seized by the US and foreign governments). The AG explained they “need to obtain documents and information in a timely, organized fashion so that the OAG may understand what has taken place.”
Fidelity to Offer Crypto Trading
Fidelity, one of the biggest asset managers in the world, informed today they will extend their cryptocurrency related services to provide trading services for selected customers. The crypto offshoot of the financial monster was only offering custody solutions at an institutional level, and with this move they will keep targeting institutions seeking to invest in cryptocurrencies with a trusted and backed company like Fidelity. Customers will be able to trade their cryptocurrencies within a few weeks.
Joseph Stiglitz Calls to “Shut Down Crypto”
Joseph Stiglitz, an Nobel Prize winner in Economics, called for the elimination of cryptocurrencies in his latest interview on CNBC. The economist thinks cryptocurrencies, as they stand now, are facilitators of criminal activities because they enable less transparent money transactions. Despite this, he is a big fan of digital payment channels. “I think we can actually have a better-regulated economy if we had all the data in real time, knowing what people are spending,” he stated.

Peter Rizun, the Chief Scientist at Bitcoin Unlimited, a node implementation for Bitcoin Cash, has called to drop support for Bitcoin SV on their next node implementation. Rizun called to reject BUIP113 proposal to support Bitcoin SV with an official implementation, and also called the members of Bitcoin Unlimited to support BUIP114 to drop support of offering to change to Bitcoin SV in the configuration options of the software, making it impossible to adapt BU to work with Bitcoin SV.
Last Will Plugin to Get an Update, Calls for Testers
Last Will, an electrum wallet plugin designed to be a trustless Will app that allows you to give your cryptocurrencies in inheritance automatically after your death, is in the process of being updated, according to a statement from its developer Karol on BCH Gang’s Telegram chat. This new update includes several new and useful functionalities, like multiple wallet inheritance. The developer is asking for beta testers to try this new version and fix possible bugs before its release.
