Bitcoin Market Analyst Tone Vays is Moving Out of New York, USA (if he can)

Trader and Bitcoin Core (BTC) pundit Tone Vays is holding investing seminars in Australia, and he found time to join CoinSpice.io Executive Editor Hayden Otto for an on-camera interview. Vays’ celebrity as a crypto market analyst is growing, as he’s frequently sought for comment and prediction. The notorious “Buy The Dip” t-shirt wearing globe trotter gives his take the Dark Net, privacy, Lightning Network, his BitMEX ban, and announces he’s moving from New York and out of the USA … if he can.

Tone Vays in Australia, Sits for an Interview

Vays is a rising celebrity in the space, and he’s known as a very technical market analyst. His well-trafficked YouTube channel is full of charts and indicators, trends, as they relate to BTC and where he believes world’s most popular crypto might be heading.

Recently he’s been quoted as bearish on BTC in the short term, calling a below $4,000 price pretty darn close to its level as of this writing.

Doesn’t Use Crypto for Currency

He’s enjoying his trip through Australia, and he encourages locals to organize a conference this time next year. Vays plans his tours way in advance, and he’s keen on sticking around twice as long on the continent nation when he returns in 2019.

Otto asks Vays about his recent dust up with crypto exchange BitMex. The exchange summarily bounced him after claiming he was a United States citizen, and thus not eligible. Turns out, he has a plan to address that issue. He hopes to at the very least move from New York, and he’s also considering leaving the US altogether (watch to hear his plans).

Vays tweeted, “Awesome turnout here for the #brisbane #Australia Meetup organized by @AleksSvetski of @getamber1 app at @Fishburners incubator.”

He also reveals how Lightning for BTC is still a tad clunky to use, but he isn’t worried and wants devs to take their time in working things out. Vays is also an avid poker player, and he’s noticed a pattern among the crypto community of avid enthusiasts making their living as professional card players.
