TL;DR: Crypto Dev Digest (CDD) documents cryptocurrency development, highlighting the projects and persons working under the hood. BCH devs meet ahead of the November 15, 2019 upgrade. A thought experiment involves bringing over Taproot to Bitcoin Cash. More dev-related businesses are incorporating in Wyoming, and Crescent Cash has an easy-to-use, clean paper wallet platform.
BCH Devs Meet Ahead of Upgrade
Amaury Séchet – Bitcoin ABC, Antony Zegers – Bitcoin ABC, Jason B. Cox – Bitcoin ABC, Mark Lundeberg – Independent BCH Developer, Chris Pacia – BCHD, Tyler Smith – BCHD, Jason Dreyzehner – BitAuth, Josh Green – Bitcoin Verde, and Matias Garcia – BitPay joined by video conference, hosted by David R. Allen, to discuss issues related to the upgrade just days away.
Avalanche was tossed around a bit, but they mostly centered discussion on the November 15th, 2019 upgrade for Bitcoin Cash. They also looked for a specification regarding the Bitcoin Unlimited BUIP121. For the next upgrade, there was chatter regarding allowing for more than one OP_RETURN output per transaction, a new DAA, possibly making P2PKH256 outputs standard, and to look into the 520 byte script limit as it relates to P2SH script length in particular.
Taproot for BCH?
I've been thinking about taproot for several months now. We could do it on BCH, quite cleanly, but there is a concern about collision attacks (which are VERY expensive, but not impossible). Still not sure it's worth it, but fun to think about!https://t.co/X1GmEvhAHd

SLP Faucet IP Restriction
Added a pull request to SimpleLedger/slp-faucet for limiting request by IP.
Until it gets approved, you can add this code into your SLP Faucet to restrict submissions of one per IP every 12 hours. https://t.co/sY4kBpv061

Flowee on a Simple Xeon Server
I installed Flowee the Hub on a simple (xeon) server last night and the initial block sync took only 2 hours. Processing the entire 10 year block history! (280 million transactions).
I think this is a good prove that #BitcoinCash can scale already very well, thanks.

All Roads Leading to Wyoming
I've incorporated EARTH Engineering in Wyoming. Thanks to @Tyler_Lindholm & @CaitlinLong_ for all the amazing work they've done to attract biz to that state. They have helped positioned Wyoming as the "Blockchain Valley" of the United States. Amazing work you two (& your teams)🌟

BCH 25 Unconfirmed Tx Layer 2 Solution?
Just a thought regarding the BCH 25 unconfirmed tx chain limit.
Satoshi Dice has said they are willing to award a bounty of up to $1M value for removal of the limit.
What if, instead that $1M was spent developing a layer 2 solution, improving the overall value of the ecosystem?

Kudos to Read.cash
People say it can't be done – people say anything but single address everywhere is too hard – then someone did it.
