TL;DR: Laura Young is not a typical guest on the CoinSpice Podcast. We’ve had authors, developers, economists, etc. as our principal focus. What about cryptocurrency users? What about the real people who everyone claims to be working for? That’s Laura. Her story is one enthusiasts, investors, engineers should all listen to and learn from. This episode is available embedded in the article below, and on YouTube, iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, Radio Public, Breaker, PocketCasts, PodBean, and Overcast.
Laura Young and Her Crypto Journey
This was a lot of fun. I enjoy all the interviews, and I always learn something. Laura, however, was a blast. She’s an instant friend, as anyone online will tell you. She’s kind, warm, and hilarious. We got to know her through the famous, and now private, CoinSpice Telegram group — which is notorious for its irony, biting humor, and vigorous debate. It’s not for the faint of heart. Thus, the spice.
Laura can hang. She gives as good as she gets, and understands the joke. Her personal story is one everyone should listen to if you’re interested in growing cryptocurrency adoption. She holds nothing back. She happens to be a fan of Bitcoin Cash (BCH), but that doesn’t stop her from telling the truth about products and services associated with the popular coin.
This will be listeners’ favorite episode for a lot of reasons, but most of all because she’s so honest and funny. She gives an inside look at what it’s like to enter the wildcat world of cryptocurrency and its outer limits such as CoinSpice. “Until you start using cryptocurrency,” Laura insisted, “you really don’t know what cryptocurrency is.” She’s read the books. She’s watched the videos. But using it made all the difference.
