TL;DR: CoinSpice scours the Twittersphere to shine light upon the top crypto tweets of the week. BTC maxi company Blockstream CSO Samson Mow continues to use sexism Crypto Twitter. HEX wallet’s ETH is moved, and the ecosystem’s worse fears are assumed confirmed. Popular subreddit r/Cryptocurrency is engaging in more censorship. The Swiss government’s site goes down, completely, and Ross Ulbricht has a non-fungible token (NFT) minted on his behalf.
Tweets of the Week: #8 Blockstream CSO Still Using Sexism Card
The cryptocurrency ecosystem at large is beginning to awaken with regard to BTC maximalists and their tactics. Blockstream’s CSO Samson Mow has a long, very toxic record of dividing projects, trolling, taunting, and attacking others who dare challenge his purity tests. His party foul of taking-on an innocent meme at his expense turned into a classic case of a weaponized Streisand Effect.

The You Versus the Guy She Tells You Not to Worry About meme landed on Mow perfectly, and he freaked. He railed against anyone who retweeted it as employing sexism, and even fellow maxis wondered why Mow was overreacting. He threw his lady friend in front of the argument, hoping her mere presence would redirect laughter at him toward outrage at the meme’s promoters. That didn’t work.

Those sympathetic to Mow went after the @karbonbased Twitter account as a result, employing social engineering of the company’s Terms of Service through a legal-looking take-down notice. Journalist Amy Castor published an interview with the meme’d person now known as Gym Friend, and it turns out he was indeed contacted by Mow’s lady friend about the matter. The article set the Blockstream CSO off further, and he’s gone on a blocking spree.

#2 Swiss Government Goes Down, Completely
The Swiss Government is down, completely. Why? Because they f*cked-up their DNSSEC on https://t.co/4We6tM7lti, no gov services available, including surveillance.
Why should we trust them to keep all our data?#fail
