Ryan X. Charles, Amaury Séchet and Justin Bons, leaders in the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) space sat down, during BCH Devcon in Amsterdam, for a discussion about proposed upgrades coming to Bitcoin Cash in November.
Bitcoin Cash Fork Debate Happens in Amsterdam
The BCH community has been itching to hear from principals in the space, especially developers, business people, and miners — all together. Ryan X. Charles – CEO at MoneyButton and Yours.org, Amaury Séchet – Lead Developer at Bitcoin ABC, Justin Bons – Co-Founder and CIO of Cyber Capital, Bitcoin Unlimited member, were brought together to give voice to the three major sides.
Moderator Paul Wasensteiner of the Bitcoin Cash Association was a generous and warm discussion leader. He was careful to summarize points, to follow up on questions either not asked or implied.
The Great Debate
The men seemed to agree on a lot more than headlines and social media would lead an outsider to believe. All of them want BCH to advance in world wide adoption, and quickly. Some believe in raising block size faster, and considerably. Others don’t disagree with that, and have other priorities at the moment, priorities to get software ready for the kind of adoption everyone wants.
